The hotel is located on the Trans-Canada Highway, making it a convenient spot halfway from Calgary. The rooms, although showing their age, are still quite comfortable. The service here was spectacular, going above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. The location is nice and great for families with children. The dining experience was good, especially with organic vegetables available. However, the rooms lack air conditioning and need updating.

Staying at the hotel was a wonderful experience overall. The rooms were large and nicely appointed, maintaining a charming historical theme. Enjoying the garden view from our private balcony was a lovely touch, although it did get quite hot at times. The service was top-notch, especially from the friendly restaurant staff, although there were some instances of being a bit too busy to offer immediate attention. The location was fabulous, with the added bonus of the Ghost Town next door providing a unique and enjoyable experience. Dining was good, but prices were a bit high for some items. The facilities were impressive, offering a range of activities and amenities to enjoy.

The hotel has a lovely setting, but some rooms are dark, and there is an awful smell in some hallways. The grounds are well-maintained, and the nearby museum is a must-visit. However, the lack of natural light in the rooms and occasional unpleasant odors are drawbacks to consider.

The service was top-notch. From the front desk personnel to the restaurant staff and gift shop attendants, everyone was friendly and accommodating. However, it felt like they were understaffed when the hotel got busier.
Location

The location is amazing, not only for its beautiful views but also for being centrally located between Vancouver and Calgary. However, more lounge chairs and umbrellas would enhance the experience, and updating the WiFi coverage throughout the hotel is necessary.
Dining

Despite being advertised as a B&B, the dining experience was enjoyable, especially after returning from exploring the Ghost Town. The food was delicious, but more variety in the breakfast options would be appreciated.
Facilities

The facilities were adequate, but could benefit from updates. Additionally, having WiFi available throughout the hotel, not just in the reception area, would greatly improve the guest experience.

Upon arrival, the hotel seemed a bit worn down, but the room was surprisingly spacious and clean with a lovely view of the gardens and the lake. The service was friendly overall, although there were some hiccups in the restaurant. The location was beautiful, offering easy access to the lake, the enchanted forest, and even a nearby ghost town. The dining experience was decent and affordable. The facilities were adequate but nothing to write home about.
