Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is located on the Trans-Canada Highway, making it a convenient spot halfway from Calgary. The rooms, although showing their age, are still quite comfortable. The service here was spectacular, going above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. The location is nice and great for families with children. The dining experience was good, especially with organic vegetables available. However, the rooms lack air conditioning and need updating.
Staying at the hotel was a wonderful experience overall. The rooms were large and nicely appointed, maintaining a charming historical theme. Enjoying the garden view from our private balcony was a lovely touch, although it did get quite hot at times. The service was top-notch, especially from the friendly restaurant staff, although there were some instances of being a bit too busy to offer immediate attention. The location was fabulous, with the added bonus of the Ghost Town next door providing a unique and enjoyable experience. Dining was good, but prices were a bit high for some items. The facilities were impressive, offering a range of activities and amenities to enjoy.
The hotel has a lovely setting, but some rooms are dark, and there is an awful smell in some hallways. The grounds are well-maintained, and the nearby museum is a must-visit. However, the lack of natural light in the rooms and occasional unpleasant odors are drawbacks to consider.
Staying at the hotel was a pleasant experience overall. The rooms were comfortable with a balcony, but lacking air conditioning. The service was top-notch with knowledgeable and friendly staff, although some areas could use improvement. The location was absolutely stunning but with limited connectivity. Dining options were decent, especially at the restaurant, and the facilities offered added convenience during the stay.
Upon arrival, the hotel seemed a bit worn down, but the room was surprisingly spacious and clean with a lovely view of the gardens and the lake. The service was friendly overall, although there were some hiccups in the restaurant. The location was beautiful, offering easy access to the lake, the enchanted forest, and even a nearby ghost town. The dining experience was decent and affordable. The facilities were adequate but nothing to write home about.
